I just thought I'd share with you all the letter I just submitted to Steak 'N Shake.  And believe me when I say this, you may doubt it, but it's a brilliant idea:

Dear Steak 'n Shake,

You have been a friend to many for many years.  Now, I want to be a friend back and suggest to you what may be the most brilliant idea EVER.  I can't lay claim to this idea, I "discovered" it recently while eating at a small restaurant in the Cleveland area of Ohio called Beardens.  You see, they had this delicious burger called a "peanut burger".  Basically, it's a hamburger with peanut butter spread on the burger, in a tasty bun.  This would be easy for you to add to your menu - you just would need to have peanut butter available.  You already have delicious hamburgers, so why not offer peanut butter as an option.  Better yet, it's not something any other chains (that I'm aware of) are doing, so you could own the corner on the market AND have some very creative commercials.  I think these could be a BIG hit for you, and I would come get them often. 

So, think about it.  Would a friend steer you wrong?  Trust me - they're good!

Of course, you do realize now that you've read this that you have to try and make yourself a peanut burger at home.  Yeah, they're that good.
